Bid & Proposal Officer – Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

As a Bid & Proposal Officer you will manage the sourcing and bidding activities for Thunder Supply, ensuring bids are submitted on time, meet quality standards and align with customer expectations. You will support company growth by fostering strong relationships with customers and suppliers and driving sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Study and analyse technical and commercial specifications of each bid to ensure customer requirements are met and identify potential challenges.
• Source qualified vendors based on capability, quality, price and delivery feasibility.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, partners and customers to secure favourable terms.
• Evaluate vendor offers technically and commercially, considering specifications, lead times, payment and delivery terms.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to achieve satisfaction and retention targets.
• Implement sales strategies to achieve gross profit and sales targets.
• Respond promptly to post‑tender clarifications and facilitate communication between customers and suppliers.
• Update and maintain accurate sales pipeline data in CRM and ERP systems (SAP B1, Salesforce, Egnyte).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics or supply‑chain related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in supply chain, sourcing, logistics or bidding.
• Strong professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
