Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst will support business performance, process improvement and transformation initiatives across Finance, Operations, Commercial, HR and IT at Noatum Ports Jordan. You will analyse operational and business requirements, identify improvement opportunities and translate business needs into practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.
• Map current‑state and future‑state processes and identify inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop business cases, analytical reports and performance dashboards.
• Analyse operational, financial and commercial data to support decision‑making.
• Support transformation and digitalisation initiatives and translate requirements into functional specifications for technology teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, process reviews and monitor project benefits and implementation outcomes.
• Assist in the development of SOPs, workflows and process documentation.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• 5–8 years of business analysis experience, preferably in logistics, ports, transportation or infrastructure environments.
• Strong analytical capability with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in process‑mapping tools.
