Business Planning & Reporting Officer (Senior)

About the role

The Business Planning & Reporting Officer supports the organization by gathering, analysing and presenting data that drives strategic decisions. This role combines finance, marketing and operational insights to produce clear, actionable reports for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and organise data from internal and external sources, analyse trends and generate insights.
• Create accurate, comprehensive reports and visualisations for stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry standards, flagging deviations and risks.
• Present findings to senior management using data‑visualisation techniques.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather information and align reporting with business needs.
• Continuously evaluate and improve reporting processes for efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.
• Build, automate and maintain operational dashboards at the business‑unit level.
• Assess and revise sales commission schemes, develop simulations and support target‑setting methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing, business administration, industrial engineering or data analytics.
• Limited experience in reporting and data analytics (junior level).
• Certifications: Advanced Excel, Power BI Data Analytics and Visualization.
• Knowledge of call‑center and retail operations is a plus.
