Demi Chef De Partie (Full‑time)

About the role

The Demi Chef De Partie is a full‑time, on‑site position at RAW & BOWL'D in Amman. Reporting to the Chef De Partie, you will help prepare, cook and present dishes that reflect the restaurant’s fresh, balanced menu concepts across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.

Key responsibilities

• Execute mise en place and maintain consistent food quality and presentation according to recipes and plating standards.
• Manage a designated kitchen section, ensuring smooth service during all meal periods.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations, including proper storage, labeling and stock rotation.
• Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation to minimise waste.
• Contribute creative ideas for new dishes and support the training of junior kitchen staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized and efficient work environment at all times.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in casual or lifestyle dining.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen cleanliness practices.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately, work efficiently during busy periods and manage a kitchen section with minimal supervision.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and time‑management skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior chefs.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays in an all‑day dining operation.
• Formal culinary education or vocational training is preferred; prior experience in Amman’s restaurant scene is a plus.
