Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our Food & Beverage team at a luxury hotel in Amman. The role involves preparing high‑quality pastry items, supporting the Pastry Chef, and ensuring consistent service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, cold foods and pastry items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and monitor food quality and quantity.
• Pull frozen items for thawing, ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish.
• Maintain food logs, report excess items for daily specials, and communicate menu updates to service staff.
• Assist with hiring, training and scheduling as needed.
• Follow all safety, security and hygiene policies, and report any incidents.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of pastry or kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb and perform physical tasks.
