DevOps Engineer – Monitoring & Observability

About the role

CFI Financial Group is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of monitoring and observability solutions across its global trading infrastructure. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure high reliability, performance, and scalability of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage monitoring solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Zabbix, or New Relic.
• Create custom dashboards and visualisation panels to track system health, application performance, and service‑level indicators.
• Implement alerting strategies and integrate monitoring pipelines into CI/CD workflows.
• Automate monitoring and alerting configuration with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools like Terraform.
• Support incident response by providing telemetry, runbooks, and participating in on‑call rotations.
• Collaborate with developers to define metrics, logs, and traces for new services and continuously improve the observability framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering role.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud environments (AWS).
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
