Employees Financial Services Unit Head

About the role

The Employees Financial Services Unit Head oversees payroll processing, auditing, and all accounting entries related to employee expenses for the Bank and its subsidiaries. The role ensures accurate calculations, regulatory compliance, and the protection of both the Bank’s and employees’ financial rights.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the payroll and employee expense team to ensure accurate, efficient operations in line with policies.
• Set unit objectives, monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and manage workforce planning, including leave scheduling.
• Review and recommend enhancements to payroll, benefits, and expense policies.
• Calculate, review, and validate payroll, salary adjustments, deductions, overtime, and related transactions.
• Approve incentives, allowances, and bonuses with proper documentation.
• Prepare and distribute payroll, social security, and management reports.
• Sign salary certificates and ensure timely tax remittances.
• Verify accounting entries for payroll and expense transactions before posting.
• Handle employee inquiries on payroll, benefits, and reimbursements.
• Evaluate employee lending programs and monitor payroll deductions such as loans and advances.
• Administer social security matters, work‑injury cases, and required reporting.
• Validate expense reimbursements, travel allowances, medical expenses, and other payments.
• Approve resignation settlements and ensure accurate financial calculations.
• Analyze control reports, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience supervising payroll and employee expense operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
• Proven ability to lead a team, set objectives, and manage performance.
• Excellent analytical skills for reviewing financial data and reports.
• Capability to interact with employees and resolve financial inquiries.
