Field & Installed Base Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, customer‑focused Field & Installed Base Engineer to act as our permanent technical presence in South Jordan. You will be the frontline representative, supporting clients on‑site, keeping visibility of our OEM equipment, and providing market insights that drive service and sales growth across Aqaba, Karak, Tafila, and Ma’an.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to maintain strong client engagement and technical presence.
• Provide on‑site technical support and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Maintain an accurate register of the installed base, including OEM details, models, and equipment condition.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify risks, service needs, and improvement opportunities.
• Identify retrofit, upgrade, and replacement opportunities within the installed base.
• Support early tender engagement by sharing field insights and market intelligence.
• Contribute to pipeline development and assist commercial and business‑development activities.
• Coordinate closely with head office and OEM principals to align technical and commercial efforts.
• Prepare structured monthly field reports covering activities, findings, and opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of field experience in mechanical or industrial environments.
• Experience in potash, bromine, or cement industries is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
