Finance Manager – Jordan

About the role

The Finance Manager – Jordan is responsible for end‑to‑end financial management, governance, and performance delivery for the country. Reporting to the Associate Director – Finance, the role partners closely with the Country leadership team to ensure disciplined planning, high‑quality reporting, strong cash and working‑capital control, and full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own all finance operations for Jordan, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and treasury interface.
• Ensure accurate, timely, policy‑compliant transaction processing and enforce approval limits, delegation of authority, and segregation of duties.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities, preparing trial balances, P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements with clear variance analysis.
• Drive the annual budgeting process, build bottom‑up budgets, prepare rolling forecasts and track actuals versus plan.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash‑flow forecasts, monitor bank balances, manage collections and oversee payment runs.
• Act as finance partner to the Country leadership team, providing financial input for sales, supply, marketing initiatives and business cases.
• Maintain control checklists, test control effectiveness, manage audit timelines and ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations and tax laws.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑to‑end financial management and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead month‑end close, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Experience working closely with senior business leaders and supporting strategic decisions.
