General Insurance Underwriter

About the role

Bayzat is seeking an experienced General Insurance Underwriter to join its fast‑growing team. You will act as the bridge between our clients and insurers, delivering tailored quote solutions and supporting the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Approach insurers with customized quote requests that meet client needs.
• Assist sales teams in negotiating clauses, extensions, warranties and premiums.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance partners to boost client retention and acquire new business.
• Analyze clients’ general‑insurance risks, compare options and provide optimal advice.
• Manage GI claims, collect premiums and allocate payments accurately.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a General Insurance underwriter, preferably with an insurance broker.
• Deep knowledge of GI policies such as Casualty, Liability and Marine.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities.
