Head of Corporate FP&A

About the role

The Head of Corporate FP&A will lead financial planning, performance management and cost strategy for a large multi‑country financial services organization. Reporting to senior leadership, this role partners with technology, HR, risk, legal and operations to translate strategy into actionable financial plans.

Key responsibilities

• Act as finance lead for corporate support functions and drive cost discipline across budgets and transformation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain enterprise‑wide cost‑optimization programs, productivity initiatives and governance frameworks.
• Lead executive‑level performance reviews, produce board packs and deliver consolidated reporting with strong variance analysis.
• Own annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long‑range planning, implementing driver‑based and scenario modelling.
• Design and manage cost allocation and internal pricing frameworks in partnership with Treasury.
• Partner with CFO, ExCo and regional leaders to ensure alignment with group standards and present insights to board‑level stakeholders.
• Oversee FP&A governance, data integrity and finance transformation projects such as ERP and EPM implementations.
• Build and lead a geographically dispersed FP&A team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics or a quantitative field; MBA or MSc preferred.
• Professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, CFA) strongly preferred.
• 15–20 years of FP&A, finance or controlling experience within large financial institutions.
• Proven leadership across multiple countries/regions with a track record in planning, forecasting, cost management and performance reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with cost allocation, internal pricing frameworks and delivery of cost‑optimization programmes.
