ICT Teacher

About the role

Amman Academy, an IB World School in Jordan, is seeking an enthusiastic ICT Teacher to deliver bilingual (English/Arabic) technology education to students aged 3‑19. The successful candidate will join a vibrant international community and contribute to the school’s commitment to educational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess ICT curriculum aligned with the International Baccalaureate framework.
• Integrate technology across subjects to enhance learning experiences.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that reflects the school’s values of creativity, integrity, well‑being, collaboration, respect and discipline.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Complete required assessments, demo classes and multiple interview stages during the recruitment process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Education or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of teaching or relevant ICT experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the IB system.
• Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undergo national and international vetting procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering ICT curriculum to a bilingual audience.
• Ability to use educational technology tools and platforms.
