Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Amman. This full‑time, on‑site position will support daily accounting operations and help ensure accurate financial records for our telecom and technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and process invoices.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare basic financial reports and reconcile bank statements.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Collaborate with senior finance team members to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Provide administrative support for audits and other financial reviews.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger, AP/AR and reconciliations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1‑2 years of experience in contracting companies, preferably in technology or telecom.
• Ability to work on‑site in Amman and meet deadlines for periodic closing activities.
• Familiarity with local tax regulations and basic financial reporting standards is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
