Manufacturing & Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing & Design Engineer to support the design, development, and production of robotic solar panel cleaning systems. The role involves creating mechanical components, ensuring manufacturability, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑growing robotics company.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and product solutions.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and bills of materials.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Coordinate with Production, Electrical, and Controls teams to ensure integrated designs.
• Select materials and components, and liaise with suppliers as needed.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues and implement practical solutions.
• Support continuous improvement of product reliability, quality, and manufacturability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances.
• Good command of English.
• Experience in robotics, automation, renewable energy, or outdoor products is an advantage.
