Marketing Assistant Manager

About the role

The Marketing Assistant Manager will support the development and execution of regional retail marketing programmes for a specific product line, aligning with the bank’s overall strategy and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the creation and rollout of regional retail marketing campaigns.
• Develop time‑plans and detailed briefs for agencies and external suppliers.
• Oversee day‑to‑day production of marketing materials with external agencies.
• Review and ensure accuracy of English and Arabic copy for all communications.
• Manage logistics for material distribution to the network and for sponsorships and events.
• Evaluate media plans, recommend cost‑effective solutions, and track media spend.
• Prepare budget allocations, expense tracking, and marketing spend reports per product.
• Monitor competitor activities and produce post‑campaign analysis reports.
• Collaborate with product managers and regional marketing officers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of hands‑on marketing experience within a multinational bank, large corporation, or advertising agency.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Strong creative thinking and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Excellent copywriting in English and Arabic.
• Deep understanding of regional media, advertising agency workflows, and production/printing processes.
• Proven budget management and expense tracking.
• Effective coordination with external agencies and internal stakeholders.
