MEAL Coordinator – National Position

About the role

AVSI is seeking a dedicated MEAL Coordinator to lead monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities across its Jordan programmes. Working closely with the Head of Programs, Project Managers and the regional office, you will ensure that project outcomes are measured reliably and that lessons are captured for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain outcome and output indicators for all programmes and new proposals.
• Supervise the design of M&E plans aligned with logical frameworks and support partner organisations through capacity‑building workshops.
• Manage the Activity Info database, prepare after‑action reviews and compile internal and external progress reports.
• Coordinate field visits, verify data quality and oversee the Feedback, Complaint and Response mechanism.
• Guide AVSI Jordan MEAL staff, ensure effective inter‑department communication and produce donor and authority reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in MEAL within humanitarian or development settings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Activity Info software.
• Good knowledge of the Jordanian and broader MENA context.
