Mechanical Engineer – MEP Projects in UAE

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP project delivery team in the UAE. You will be responsible for the design, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing and firefighting across large‑scale landmark projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical designs, shop drawings and material submittals for compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.
• Supervise and monitor on‑site mechanical works to ensure proper installation, alignment and adherence to approved drawings.
• Coordinate with electrical and civil teams to resolve technical conflicts and ensure seamless MEP integration.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments and enforce strict HSE compliance.
• Manage subcontractors, monitor productivity and verify progress against project schedules.
• Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems in line with project and authority standards.
• Maintain project documentation including ITPs, checklists, NCRs and as‑built drawings.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in MEP projects, preferably in the Gulf region.
• Ability to work on‑site and relocate to the UAE.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
