Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Data Center (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Testing & Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning of data‑center facilities across the UAE. You will ensure that electrical, mechanical and IT infrastructure are installed, tested and handed over in full compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage commissioning of data‑center systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, fire detection and suppression, and building management systems.
• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting and performance verification of all installed equipment.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and clients to ensure smooth handover.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports, test documentation and as‑built records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, TIA‑942, Uptime Institute guidelines and relevant codes.
• Provide technical support and training to operations teams during handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience commissioning data‑center infrastructure (Tier I–IV).
• Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH units, fire suppression and monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA‑942, Uptime Institute, NFPA and IEC.
