Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Specialist

About the role

MS Pharma is seeking an Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist to implement and maintain its HSE management system across site facilities. The role focuses on risk mitigation, compliance with ISO standards, and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the HSE management system, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure safe operations.
• Maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications through regular audits.
• Review and approve safety manuals for all machinery and oversee permit‑to‑work processes (hot work, LOTO, confined space, work at height).
• Lead emergency response actions and coordinate with local authorities and civil defence.
• Ensure safety and spill‑containment equipment is functional, tested, and maintained.
• Promote safety awareness through training and continuous communication.
• Lead accident investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in occupational health, safety and environment within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical setting.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication skills to train and advise employees at all levels.
