Agricultural Engineer – Production & Project Lead

About the role

A well‑established hospitality company with agricultural operations is seeking an experienced Agricultural Engineer to lead and oversee all agricultural projects, including olive farms. The role involves planning, managing and improving production to ensure high yields, quality standards and efficient resource use across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and supervise all agricultural projects, including olive farms and related operations.
• Develop and implement production plans, seasonal calendars and cultivation programs.
• Monitor crop health, productivity and apply best practices in irrigation, fertilisation and pest‑disease control.
• Oversee harvesting operations and ensure produce quality meets required standards.
• Supervise farm supervisors and field workers, coordinating daily site activities.
• Manage farm resources, inputs, equipment and budgets efficiently.
• Conduct regular field visits and inspections to follow up on progress and resolve issues.
• Prepare periodic reports on production, costs and project status for management.
• Recommend and introduce improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and agricultural regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Agricultural Production.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in agricultural production and project management.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, soil management, crop protection and harvesting practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead field teams.
• Good planning, reporting and problem‑solving skills.
• Preferably residing in Amman and owning a car or pickup for site travel.
