Online Account Manager – Local Shops

About the role

Talabat is seeking an Online Account Manager to strengthen relationships with local shop vendors and drive revenue growth across its platform. You will act as the primary liaison between Talabat and its partner stores, ensuring a seamless online experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular business reviews with vendors to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain continuous communication via calls and emails to resolve operational issues.
• Keep vendor item listings up‑to‑date and optimise content such as delivery and preparation times.
• Renegotiate commission rates and build new commercial relationships.
• Manage advertisement sales, including acquiring product images, branding stickers, banners and newsletters.
• Generate and oversee vendor coupons, promotions and vouchers.
• Promote digital tools (Pelican, check‑in features, backlinks, splash pages, white‑label solutions, Facebook button) and encourage adoption of online payment gateways.
• Coordinate vendor status on Talabat, troubleshooting shutdowns or delivery interruptions via Salesforce.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of sales experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Salesforce platform.
