Operations Specialist

About the role

Petra Ride is looking for a detail‑oriented Operations Specialist to join its Amman team. You will work across supply acquisition, vendor management and daily fleet operations, helping to ensure reliable transportation services for customers and captains.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and manage supply to meet business demand and maintain high reliability.
• Collaborate with marketplace supply teams or build a dedicated fleet to achieve supply goals.
• Lead cross‑functional projects related to supply and operations.
• Manage vendor relationships to increase platform supply.
• Oversee day‑to‑day supply operations, ensuring consistent delivery performance.
• Contribute to data‑driven decision making and maintain visibility of operational metrics.
• Forecast acquisition trends and onboard captains based on demand projections.
• Monitor delivery KPIs such as delivery time, fulfilment and captain performance.
• Drive captain retention, loyalty and engagement initiatives.
• Support city‑level rollouts, collect captain feedback and troubleshoot daily issues.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in a similar industry or role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations or a related field.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
