Payment Systems Specialist

About the role

The Payment Systems Specialist will ensure the stability, efficiency and security of core payment platforms such as SWIFT and Payment Safe. Working within a banking IT environment, you will lead technical support, manage system changes and drive continuous improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain payment systems, including SWIFT and Payment Safe.
• Oversee system changes, ensuring proper documentation, compliance and use of change‑management processes.
• Coordinate change activities through Jira.
• Participate in payment‑related projects and initiatives.
• Apply fixes, patches and updates to keep systems current.
• Understand and monitor payment system flows.
• Utilize technical expertise in Tomcat, Oracle and AIX/Linux environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in payment systems or banking IT.
• Broad knowledge of emerging payment technologies and the banking IT industry.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic understanding of micro‑services architecture.
