Payment Systems Specialist

About the role

The Payment Systems Specialist is responsible for the stability, efficiency, and security of core payment platforms such as Swift and Payment Safe. The role combines technical oversight with team guidance to ensure high‑quality support and continuous improvement of payment infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain payment systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Oversee all system changes, guaranteeing proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Apply change‑management processes and track activities through Jira.
• Participate in projects and initiatives related to payment systems.
• Apply required fixes, patches, and updates to keep systems current.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of payment system flows.
• Utilize technical knowledge in Tomcat, Oracle, and AIX/Linux environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Broad knowledge of emerging payment system technologies and the banking IT industry.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of micro‑services architecture.
