Payment Systems Support Officer

About the role

The Payment Systems Support Officer will ensure the smooth operation of ATM Switch and Card Management Systems, supporting both ongoing maintenance and new service implementations. This role works closely with business, operations, and external vendors to deliver reliable payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support ATM Switch and Card Management Systems on a daily basis.
• Participate in SDLC phases to design, develop, and launch new ATM and card services.
• Gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and review Business Requirement Documents with business and operations teams.
• Collaborate with ATM Switch and CMS vendors to deploy, implement, and test new functionalities.
• Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and verify vendor deliveries.
• Assist QC and QA teams in executing test plans and simulating test cases.
• Test integration of ATM Switch and CMS APIs with internal and external parties, including local and international schemes.
• Monitor payment systems, support release management, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Provide technical support for ATM machines and related systems such as Aptra Vision and Proview.
• Offer 1st and 2nd level technical assistance to colleagues across departments.
• Document processes, deliver training, and hand over knowledge to operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to one year of experience in IT.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, database design.
• Programming languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, HTML.
• Web services and API technologies: REST, SOAP.
• Operating systems: Windows, Unix, Linux.
