Procurement Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is looking for a Procurement Senior Associate to support the delivery of cost‑saving and operational‑efficiency initiatives across the firm. You will work closely with category leads and internal stakeholders to ensure the organisation obtains quality goods and services at the best possible price.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the procurement strategy set by leadership, targeting high‑opportunity spend areas.
• Assist the Procurement Category Lead in managing spend, defining strategies, and optimising contract terms, cost and quality.
• Support RFI/RFP processes, including scope creation, technical and commercial evaluation, and stakeholder sign‑off.
• Review contract terms, recommend amendments, and negotiate to achieve year‑on‑year spend reductions.
• Log and report savings, capture accurate procurement data for finance systems, and ensure data reconciliation.
• Build internal customer relationships for assigned spend categories and develop external supplier partnerships.
• Handle day‑to‑day procurement activities such as tendering, contract award, negotiations, order finalisation, and delivery follow‑up.
• Provide contract‑management support and ensure internal customer satisfaction with procurement services.
• Support internal procurement projects, escalations, and the design of category‑management improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or category management, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess vendor performance, benchmark spend, and identify savings opportunities.
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to optimise procurement outcomes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence contract terms and achieve cost reductions.
