Procurement Services Officer – Regional (TA, 364 days)

About the role

The Procurement Services Officer (TA, 364 days) will act as the multi‑country focal point for procurement in the ECAMENA region, supporting UNICEF country offices in Jordan, Iraq, Egypt and Lebanon. Reporting to the Procurement Services Specialist, the officer will provide technical and operational assistance to ensure effective procurement planning, implementation and supply financing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify supply needs and assess country readiness for procurement activities.
• Develop and adapt procurement engagement modalities for each country office.
• Provide technical guidance on UNICEF procurement policies, procedures and best practices.
• Coordinate with the Supply Financing Centre and national supply managers to facilitate supply financing and logistics.
• Monitor operational and transactional requirements, ensuring compliance with UN procurement rules.
• Prepare procurement documentation, reports and performance dashboards for regional oversight.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain or logistics within an international or humanitarian context.
• Familiarity with UN procurement regulations and multi‑country coordination.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an asset.
