Program Manager II – Jordan

About the role

As the CRS programming lead for Jordan, the Program Manager II will oversee the design, implementation and close‑out of CRS and partner projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, donor guidelines and the needs of vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide management, guidance and technical oversight for all new and existing projects throughout the project cycle.
• Ensure project design, start‑up, implementation and close‑out align with CRS quality principles, donor guidelines and best practices.
• Oversee partnership development, including identification, assessment and strengthening of relevant collaborations.
• Support talent management, team dynamics and staff well‑being, offering coaching and development planning.
• Cultivate donor relationships, generate leads and identify strategic growth opportunities.
• Lead proposal development, technical writing and budgeting to secure new funding.
• Drive program learning, research and knowledge management, including MEAL policy implementation.
• Champion safeguarding policies and ensure compliance across all activities.
• Provide occasional programming leadership coverage for JWBG, including in Gaza when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Development, International Relations or a related field.
• Relevant experience in humanitarian or development program management.
