Project Architect / Civil Engineer (On-site, Amman)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time, on‑site Project Architect or Civil Engineer to lead the design, coordination and implementation of building projects in Amman, from concept through construction. The role involves preparing technical drawings, managing submittals and ensuring compliance with local codes and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Coordinate and track project submittals, including drawings, material data and technical documents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress, resolve design and site issues, and support BIM workflows.
• Interact with clients, contractors and consultants to manage schedules, budgets and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards and sustainable design practices.

Required profile

• Strong architectural and civil engineering background with experience in building design and construction documentation.
• Proven ability to manage project submittals and perform project management activities such as planning, scheduling and risk reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field; professional registration or licensure is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings, local codes and technical standards.
• Experience in site supervision, contractor coordination and quality control is preferred.
