Remote Jordanian Arabic Instructor

About the role

Berlitz is looking for a part‑time, freelance Jordanian Arabic Instructor to deliver live online lessons. You will work from home, using the Berlitz Method to create a supportive environment where students can practice the language and explore the culture.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare each lesson using provided materials and adapt content to the learner’s needs.
• Foster a risk‑free atmosphere that encourages students to experiment and make mistakes.
• Document student progress after every session.
• Maintain a flexible schedule of 15‑20 teaching hours per week, based on your availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Jordanian Arabic and intermediate English.
• Teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills.

Required skills

• PC or laptop running Windows 11+ or macOS 14.8.9+ (Linux not supported).
• Stable wired internet connection with at least 15 Mbps download and upload speeds.
• USB headset and webcam.
• Processor ≥2 GHz and RAM ≥8 GB.
• Backup power solution for areas with load‑shedding.
