Senior Audit & Assurance – External Audit (JRC)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional to join its Audit & Assurance team for the Jordanian Resources Center (JRC) in Saudi Arabia. You will lead external audit engagements, work closely with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, and ensure high‑quality delivery for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and credibility with stakeholders by understanding their service expectations.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, applying knowledge of regulation and risk management.
• Research key statistics and industry matters before engagements begin.
• Adapt template referral instructions to define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise effectively with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, providing accurate information.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and assess their relevance.
• Link risks, controls, procedures and findings across the audit file in a timely manner.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and demonstrate how they contribute to overall audit quality.
• Challenge audit plan timings and propose earlier execution where feasible.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and clearly separates accounting from auditing judgments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in external audit, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Strong understanding of audit regulations, risk management, and industry‑specific statistics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and coordinate across multiple teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on quality and detail.
• Experience working with on‑shore and off‑shore audit centres or similar collaborative environments.
