Senior Accountant – Full Cycle

About the role

The Senior Accountant will manage the complete accounting cycle for assigned entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations. This position works closely with the Finance Manager and external auditors to support month‑end and year‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full accounting cycle, from transaction recording to monthly financial reporting.
• Record and review sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments and journal entries each month.
• Maintain up‑to‑date general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding balances.
• Produce trial balances and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Execute month‑end closing activities, ensuring proper accruals.
• Review supporting documents for proper authorization and classification.
• Monitor intercompany balances and prepare VAT and other tax schedules.
• Assist with year‑end closing, external audit requirements and preparation of supporting schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Very good English language skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience working with ERP systems.
