Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to lead the transformation of our enterprise technology landscape within the banking domain. The role combines deep technical expertise in Azure cloud services with strategic leadership to ensure a scalable, resilient, and secure global IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage Azure IaaS/PaaS solutions and hybrid cloud environments.
• Design and oversee LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, wireless, and disaster‑recovery networking.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and backup solutions.
• Implement IAM, MFA, PIM and enforce security and compliance standards.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep; create CI/CD pipelines and PowerShell automation.
• Lead transformation projects, mentor technical teams, and align IT strategy with business objectives.

Required profile

• 6‑10+ years in IT infrastructure and networking, with 4‑6+ years focused on Azure.
• Proven experience in hybrid cloud, enterprise networking, and cybersecurity.
• Strong leadership and project‑management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science; advanced degree or certifications (Azure Architect, CISSP) preferred.
