Senior Budgeting Officer

About the role

The Senior Budgeting Officer will lead budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting across the organization, ensuring high forecast accuracy and delivering actionable insights to senior management and regional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, consolidate and monitor annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long‑range financial plans.
• Prepare short‑term, medium‑term and multi‑year forecasts, documenting key assumptions and business drivers.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual) and explain performance drivers.
• Create management reports, dashboards and presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with business units, cost‑center owners and regional finance teams to validate data and improve forecast quality.
• Support cost control, margin and profitability analysis across products, entities and regions.
• Maintain financial controls for budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Enhance budgeting models, forecasting methodologies and planning processes.
• Utilize SAP and other FP&A tools to ensure data integrity and streamline reporting.
• Identify automation opportunities for Excel‑based processes.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, FP&A or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, cost structures and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
