Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Hamsa is building AI models that master Arabic dialects and powers voice agents for enterprises across the MENA region. We need a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the design, deployment, security, and operation of our multi‑cloud platform on AWS and Google Cloud, ensuring low latency and high availability for live voice conversations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the architecture of a multi‑cloud estate (AWS EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, GuardDuty; Google GKE, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, Artifact Registry, GPU compute).
• Develop and manage a Terraform codebase that makes every environment reproducible and reviewable.
• Run production Kubernetes clusters: design, upgrades, autoscaling, network policies, RBAC, and tenant isolation.
• Build and operate GPU‑based serving infrastructure for speech‑to‑text and text‑to‑speech models, controlling cost and scaling.
• Support real‑time voice stack, including media servers, SIP/VoIP integrations, and network paths for high call quality.
• Design CI/CD and GitOps workflows with safe rollout strategies (canary, blue/green, fast rollback).
• Own end‑to‑end observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerts) and lead incident response with post‑mortems.
• Package private‑cloud and on‑premise deployments for enterprise and government clients, providing required security documentation.
• Implement security controls (IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, audit logging) and support compliance reviews.
• Mentor mid‑level engineers, review infrastructure changes, and document solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, Platform, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on responsibility for production systems.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset focused on latency, availability, and audio quality.
