Senior DevOps Release Management Analyst

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Release Management Analyst you will be a key member of the DevOps team, responsible for streamlining software development and delivery processes. You will drive automation, ensure reliable releases, and support both cloud and on‑premises environments to enable faster, more secure product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test and deployment activities.
• Manage cloud and on‑premises infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, cost‑effective and able to scale with demand.
• Lead planning, coordination and execution of software releases across multiple environments.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and implement configuration management tools to maintain consistency.
• Implement and oversee incident management processes, conduct post‑incident reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor and optimise infrastructure costs while supporting budget planning for DevOps tools and resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a DevOps or Release Management role, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile delivery practices.
• Ability to collaborate across development, product and operations teams to foster a DevOps culture.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and automation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑premises infrastructure.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform).
• Understanding of incident management and post‑mortem analysis processes.
