Senior Logistics Manager

About the role

The Senior Logistics Manager will lead the end‑to‑end logistics function for pharmaceutical products, ensuring efficient, compliant and cost‑effective warehousing, shipping, transportation, customs clearance, import/export and distribution. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams to meet regulatory and quality standards while optimizing operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead warehouse, transportation, shipping, customs clearance, import/export and distribution operations.
• Ensure timely and compliant domestic and international shipments with appropriate handling and storage conditions.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers and 3PL providers.
• Oversee logistics budgets, drive cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
• Lead logistics process improvements, system enhancements and business continuity initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10‑15 years of logistics and supply chain experience, including senior management roles.
• Strong background in warehouse management, shipping, transportation, customs clearance and distribution, preferably in a regulated industry.

Required skills

• ERP, WMS and TMS systems (SAP experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of GDP and GMP regulations and international shipping requirements.
• Experience managing 3PLs, freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Proficiency in customs clearance and import/export processes.
• Ability to lead and develop logistics teams.
