Senior QA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join Equiti’s technology team in Jordan. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our web and mobile trading platforms through both manual and automated testing, contributing to continuous delivery of mission‑critical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Plan and execute functional, regression, integration and UAT test cycles.
• Design, build and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and business analysts to embed quality early.
• Identify, log and track defects through to resolution.
• Define, review and improve QA processes, standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a strong quality culture.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage of complex trading workflows such as account management, order execution and reporting.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing of web and mobile platforms.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and QA methodologies.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, global fintech environment.

Required skills

• Playwright automation framework.
• TypeScript and JavaScript programming.
• Object‑oriented programming principles.
• Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
• API testing tools such as Postman.
• Advanced SQL for database validation.
• Client‑server architecture knowledge.
