Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Equiti is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen the reliability, resiliency, and observability of its cloud platforms. You will work across incident management, post‑mortems, and error correction, directly supporting the company’s cloud resiliency objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Champion the Resiliency pillar of the Well‑Architected Framework across designs and operational activities.
• Design and execute Chaos Engineering experiments to validate system fault tolerance.
• Assess and oversee cloud migration and modernization workloads, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Develop and improve observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces) for existing cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to align observability at service and organizational levels.
• Continuously evaluate cloud deployments for compliance with reliability standards and operational readiness.
• Identify gaps in observability, drive corrective actions, and enhance alerting quality.
• Participate in capacity planning, performance analysis, and system tuning as needed.
• Mentor engineers on reliability engineering, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, contributing to incident response and post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• 3+ years in an SRE, Platform, or Reliability Engineering role.
