Solution Advisor – Presales Engineer (Mendix & Application Modernization)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Advisor / Presales Engineer to help enterprise customers in Jordan modernize their applications using Mendix and low‑code technologies. You will work closely with sales and delivery teams to translate business challenges into technical solutions that drive digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales to capture customer requirements and design high‑level solution architectures.
• Lead discovery workshops, technical discussions, and demo sessions.
• Prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, Statements of Work and solution documentation.
• Build and deliver Mendix demos and proof‑of‑concept applications.
• Create architecture diagrams, workflow models and reusable solution templates.
• Collaborate with delivery teams on effort estimation, feasibility studies and implementation planning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in presales, solution consulting, technical lead or similar customer‑facing roles.
• Strong communication skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to produce clear technical proposals and documentation.

Required skills

• Mendix low‑code platform development and delivery.
• Application Modernization and Digital Transformation concepts.
• Enterprise Architecture, System Integration and API design.
• Experience preparing RFP/RFI responses and Statements of Work.
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) – nice to have.
• Mendix Rapid Developer / Advanced Developer certification – nice to have.
