Solutions Designer

About the role

The Solutions Designer translates business and functional requirements into detailed, implementation‑ready technical designs. Working closely with product managers, analysts, developers, QA and solution architects, the role ensures that designs are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with enterprise architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and convert them into comprehensive technical solution designs.
• Design application modules, workflows, integrations, APIs, database structures and related technical processes.
• Produce implementation‑ready specifications, flowcharts, sequence diagrams and system design documents.
• Validate that designs comply with approved architectural standards and business objectives.
• Participate in technical feasibility studies and collaborate with Solution Architects on enterprise‑wide direction.
• Address non‑functional requirements such as security, scalability, performance, availability, maintainability, usability and reliability.
• Identify technical risks, bottlenecks and dependency impacts early in the design phase.
• Create and maintain clear, versioned technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support development teams during implementation, providing clarifications on business rules, workflows and integrations.
• Coordinate with QA teams to ensure test scenarios reflect the intended solution behavior.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing complex software solutions and translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and governance.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to anticipate technical risks and dependencies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
