Strategy Consultant - AI Training & Evaluation

About the role

We are looking for experienced strategy consultants from top‑tier firms to help design realistic consulting project environments that will be used to train and evaluate advanced AI systems. This remote, project‑based role focuses on translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured learning tasks for AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Build detailed consulting project scenarios, including industry context, financial data, constraints, and ambiguous inputs.
• Design structured AI tasks that mirror real consulting work such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategy, operational diagnosis, and benchmarking.
• Define evaluation criteria, grading frameworks, rubrics and golden‑answer solutions for each task to enable large‑language‑model based assessment at scale.
• Collaborate with AI and data teams to ensure the consulting content aligns with model training requirements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney or Strategy&.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems into analytical plans and deliver client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines.
• Experience building financial models, market analyses, and synthesizing findings from messy data.
• Strong written communication skills and comfort defending recommendations under uncertainty.
