Technical Team Leader

About the role

The Technical Team Leader (TTL) guides a software development team through full project lifecycles, ensuring high‑quality delivery that aligns with product and business goals. The TTL acts as the bridge between developers and management, providing both technical direction and functional coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development team, participate in architectural discussions and finalize technology choices.
• Estimate tasks, set timelines, and track progress against sprint cycles.
• Review and approve code, enforce feature/branch freezes, and oversee testing and release readiness.
• Monitor KPIs such as code quality, test coverage, bug ratios, and hot‑fix rework rates.
• Coordinate with BAs, PMs, UI/UX, QA and services teams to maintain clear, actionable user stories.
• Mentor developers, conduct performance appraisals and ensure on‑time delivery of at least 85% of tasks.
• Follow internal staging, release, and security policies and contribute to knowledge‑base documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.

Required skills

• Microsoft .NET Framework (VB.NET or C#)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, XML, Web Services, Web APIs
• Strong understanding of OOP, SDLC and architectural patterns
• Advanced database expertise with MS SQL Server or Oracle, including ER diagrams and stored procedures
