About the role

A Waiter/ess (Server) is responsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent guest and member experience while possessing extensive knowledge of menu offerings. The role involves managing guest queries, serving beverages, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage service throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
• Serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in compliance with licensing and liquor regulations for residents and non‑residents.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu and all product offerings.
• Ensure mise‑en‑place is well stocked at all floor stations.
• Follow correct reporting procedures when issues arise.
• Deliver food and beverage orders of consistently good quality and on time.
• Practice Hilton grooming standards, including uniform dress code, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
• Recognize Hilton members and VIPs staying in the hotel and provide service to the required standard.

Required profile

• Experience in the food and beverage department or industry is advantageous.
