WordPress Website Administrator – Remote (Jordan)

About the role

Petra Mechatronics, a leading B2B eCommerce provider in industrial automation, is expanding its digital footprint and needs two experienced WordPress Administrators. You will ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of multiple international eCommerce sites.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage WordPress installations across staging and production environments for various markets.
• Administer WooCommerce stores, handling category structures, product sync, and checkout optimization.
• Configure and maintain Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Crocoblock to create dynamic pages.
• Oversee web hosting, security settings, automated backups, and user access to guarantee 99.9% uptime.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, senior developers, and freelancers to meet project timelines.
• Perform site speed, mobile‑responsiveness, and technical SEO optimizations.
• Diagnose and resolve plugin conflicts, server‑side PHP/Database issues, and other bugs promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of web administration experience, with at least 1 year focused on WordPress/WooCommerce.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS; knowledge of JavaScript and PHP is a strong plus.
• Basic Photoshop skills for asset preparation.
• Excellent written and spoken English for documentation and coordination.
• Live portfolio of functional WordPress/eCommerce sites.
• Resident of Jordan with valid experience certificates.
