Accountant – Core Accounting & Financial Reporting

About the role

The role supports core accounting activities across the organization and ensures the delivery of accurate, complete, and timely financial information in line with IFRS and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain financial transactions accurately in the general ledger and relevant sub‑ledgers.
• Prepare and support bank, general ledger, and sub‑ledger reconciliations.
• Assist accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes, including reconciliations and control checks.
• Support fixed assets, inventory, and lease accounting activities as needed.
• Contribute to month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities.
• Help prepare financial reports, schedules, and audit support documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal accounting policies, and company procedures.
• Assist with tax‑related accounting requirements where applicable.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors as required.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt across different accounting areas.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle or similar) is an advantage.
