Accountant – Financial Operations

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join AmCan International Group’s finance team in Jordan. The role will support the company’s fast‑growing FMCG operations by ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain ledgers, journals and account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, guaranteeing timely and accurate payments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Ensure compliance with Jordanian accounting standards, VAT regulations and internal policies.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and overall efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within FMCG or a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Jordanian accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• High integrity, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
