AI Governance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an AI Governance Specialist to ensure our AI systems are trustworthy, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements. You will design governance frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and guide cross‑functional teams to mitigate legal and reputational risks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI governance frameworks and policies for client engagements.
• Conduct model risk assessments and responsible‑AI reviews before production go‑live.
• Own AI regulatory implementation, mapping engagement requirements to regulations such as the EU AI Act and sector‑specific rules.
• Design and run AI red‑teaming exercises for high‑risk systems.
• Develop AI testing and evaluation standards focusing on bias, fairness, explainability, and ethics.
• Advise practice leads and architects on governance risk throughout solution design.
• Facilitate cross‑functional governance reviews with legal, technical, and business stakeholders.
• Act as the voice that slows down launches when risk warrants it, even under commercial pressure.
• Train delivery teams on responsible‑AI practices.

Required profile

• 6–12+ years of experience in AI governance, model risk, compliance, or responsible‑AI roles.
• Strong working knowledge of AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, sector‑specific frameworks) and ability to operationalize them.
• Technical competence to critically assess model cards and evaluation reports.
• Experience designing red‑team protocols for AI systems.
• Excellent written policy and framework authoring skills trusted by legal and technical teams.
• Diplomatic yet firm attitude, able to hold the line on risk without becoming an obstructionist.
