Arabic to English Medical/Legal Interpreter (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for experienced Arabic‑to‑English interpreters to support medical and legal communications on a remote basis. The role involves over‑the‑phone (OPI) and video‑remote (VRI) sessions, as well as scheduled appointments, helping clients navigate critical health and legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate, real‑time interpretation for medical consultations, legal proceedings, and related interactions.
• Handle over‑the‑phone and video‑remote interpreting sessions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Maintain detailed notes and retain information accurately throughout each session.
• Adapt to varying schedules and appointment types, offering flexibility for both on‑demand and pre‑planned sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + years of professional interpretation experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in either the medical or legal sector (or both).
• Strong listening, note‑taking, and memory retention abilities.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a quiet work environment.

Required skills

• Wired USB headset with noise‑cancellation.
• Internet upload speed of at least 10 Mbps.
• Internet download speed of at least 20 Mbps.
• HIPAA‑compliant setup.
