Architect – Site Supervision (Maan, Jordan)

About the role

ASALI Engineering Consulting & Project Management is looking for an experienced Architect to lead site supervision for projects in Maan, Jordan. The role involves ensuring that all architectural works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards while supporting timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site architectural construction activities and verify compliance with contract documents.
• Monitor progress, workmanship and material quality, reporting any non‑conformities.
• Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals and method statements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve design issues.
• Conduct regular inspections, prepare progress and inspection reports, and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations and project quality standards.
• Support project scheduling, risk identification and mitigation to avoid delays.
• Promote health, safety, environmental and sustainability requirements on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural site supervision.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale construction projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of Jordanian building codes and international construction standards.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reviewing architectural shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and construction documents.
